Who processes the data

The data controller is whoever sent you the quote: the professional or company named in the header of the document, with their contact details.

Preventivatoree is the service they use to write and publish quotes, and it processes the data on their behalf as data processor.

For any question or request, write to whoever sent you the quote, at the contacts shown in the document.

Reading statistics of the quote

When you open the quote, the way it is read is recorded, to understand whether it arrived, whether it is clear and which options are of most interest. The following is recorded:

• the day it was opened and how long the page stays visible;
• the actions on the page: the options chosen, the services added or removed, the opening of the PDF and of the acceptance window, clicks on the contacts;
• the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the name of the browser and of the operating system, the browser language and the country, derived from the IP address;
• the site you come from, only its name (for example mail.google.com), if your browser provides it.

Your IP address is not stored. It is used only at the moment of the visit, together with the browser name, to compute an anonymous code that makes it possible to count the different people on the same day. The code uses a random key that changes every day and is deleted the day after: so the same device cannot be recognised on different days, not even by those who run the service.

No cookies or other tools that store data on your device are used, and the page does not read information from your device (screen resolution, installed fonts and the like). The statistics are computed on the service's own server, do not go through Google Analytics or any other analytics service, and are not combined with other data.

Legal basis: the legitimate interest of the controller in following up the proposals sent and improving them (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). These statistics fall among the measurement tools treated like technical cookies by the Italian data protection authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021, which is why consent is not required.

Retention: 13 months, then they are deleted automatically.

How to object: write to whoever sent you the quote: they will stop recording the statistics of your quote and delete those already collected.

Online acceptance

If you accept the quote from the page, the following is recorded as proof of the agreement: the full name you type, the date and time, the choices made with their amounts, the IP address, the country and the browser used, and a verification code that ties the acceptance to the exact text of the quote.

Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and of the contract requested by you (Article 6(1)(b)) and the controller's legitimate interest in being able to prove the agreement (point (f)). These data are kept for the time required by law for accounting and contractual records, normally ten years.

Who else sees the data

The service is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which acts as sub-processor: it runs the server and the database, which is located in Western Europe. Cloudflare adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

The fonts and images of the page are served from the same site: your browser does not contact third-party services. No data is sold, passed on or used for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation). Just write to whoever sent you the quote.

If you believe your data is being processed incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian data protection authority.
